Instructions can be provided in a non-public school or a correspondence course that is registered with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to oversee homeschooling. Also included in this category is that MSDE registered religious or church-affiliated schools audience. When parents choose this option, supervision is given by a registered public school or a correspondence course. Parents are still required to complete and send Home School notification form of public schools in Prince George's County notifying the public school of their intentions.
